Our marvelous musician Karen has been doing lots of research – Tempus Perfectum, the golden mean, music of the spheres, mechanical music, measurement, anchor escapement, and hemiola – among other things.
One song Karen has composed is a song for plucked instruments called Pluk de Dag, which loosely translated means Pluck the Day, Seize the Day, or Seize the Carp.
The men so far are playing ukeleles, the ladies are learning harp, psaltery, and dulcimer.
